If you attended the South Park Bridge ground breaking event on Cinco de Mayo 2011, you may have already met Carlos Platano a.k.a. Carlos the Banana. Carlos Platano is the newly-appointed shop mascot at Jugos y Tortas juice bar and deli. Only the proprietress Rosa Garcia knows when Carols will make his next appearance. Until then she’ll keep you well-fed, entertained, and carefree. Rosa knows everything goes better with a song, so ask her to lead with her favorite song, and join in on the chorus—you know the words!
