We serve delicious Oaxacan-style Mexican food in generous portions to satisfy vegans, carnivores, and everyone in between. Savor fresh favorites from burritos to tamales, meats flavored with authentic moles (the saucy kind, pronounced MOH-lay), rich caldos (soups and stews), big combo platters, plus popular Mexican refrescos (drinks) to wet your whistle.
Bring your friends, families, and appetites for a seat in our colorful dining room. We open at 10am just before the lunch rush, and serve dinner till 9:30pm daily. Come to watch the soccer game with fresh chips and our trio of salsas (verde, quemada, picante). Ask us about a bowl of chapulines (seasoned and fried grasshoppers, a protein-packed Oaxacan snack). Easy to-go orders. Cash and credit welcome, thank you.
Muy Macho in South Park holds a well-earned reputation for authentic Mexican meals. “I learned to cook from my mother and sisters, and my menu is inspired by my mother’s cooking,” says owner Judith Herrera. She is originally from Oaxaca, Mexico, a region known for its many moles. Muy Macho’s menu includes Oaxacan favorites like mole negro served with chicken, tamales served in banana leaves, and three zesty house salsas (verde, quemada, picante). Judith keeps a festive house with colorful decor and traditional music. Lunch, dinner, or happy hour, remember Muy Macho whenever you’re muy hungry.
