From the Ground Up

Do you crave the tastes of Guatemala? Is your sweet tooth milder than most? Visit our family at Tikal Bakery where you’ll find authentic Guatemalan sweet breads and groceries for your kitchen. We’re Washington State’s premier Guatemalan bakery, cooking up traditional pan dulce every day in South Park. Selections include conchas, besitos, checas, gusanitos, francés, lenguas, churros, and campechanas. We take custom orders and special requests.

At Tikal Bakery you can also stock up on your pantry staples. We sell masa, beans, sauces, spices, bouillon, and coffee. You’ll even find a few Guatemalan favorites like Picamas hot sauce and Tiky pineapple sodas. We offer Sigue money transfer services in the shop for your convenience. Bring the whole family and stop by South Park for fresh baked goodness. Cash and credit only for all orders, thank you.

Just For Fun!

Simplify with fresh baked bread from South Park

“I don’t fish,” says Erick Soto of Tikal Bakery, “I go to the store and buy any kind of fish I want, it’s not complicated. I just buy the pre-caught fish and eat it.” Extend Erick’s logic to your own kitchen: why bake breads and pastries when you can choose from a fresh selection of delicious Guatemalan pan dulce? Also known as sweet bread, Erick’s authentic pan dulce is mild, light, and less sugary than your average bear-claw. Cut out some of the sugar and the hard work, and visit Tikal Bakery in South Park for baked goodies and Guatemalan groceries.
